Renee Duplisea has worked with Steve Smith for over 16 years. As a Senior Paralegal, she has handled thousands of cases with professionalism, great attention to detail, and superior customer service. Her expertise in the area of family law is beyond compare. Her clients often say that they were able to get through the worst time of their lives because of the help they received from Renee.
Renee began her law career as a Clerk at the Bangor Superior Court, where she focused on criminal cases and grand jury indictments, gaining knowledge of court flows and systems. It was while working at the court, that Renee met Steve Smith, who would soon become her mentor.
Renee is well known for her strong work ethic. While working a full-time job and raising a family, she enrolled at the University of Maine and in 2021 earned a bachelor’s degree in Pre Law. She is currently enrolled at the Maine School of Law and is on track to graduate with her J.D. in 2025. She is very excited to finally realize her dream of becoming a lawyer.
Renee lives in Burnham with her husband, Ryan, and their two children. She enjoys spending time with her kids and in her garden, where she enjoys growing tomatoes to make spaghetti sauce.
